Irisbus Iveco UK Appoints General Manager

David Siviero has been appointed as the new General Manager of Irisbus Iveco UK, with immediate effect.

Mr Siviero, 39, brings fifteen years experience in the automotive industry to the company, which included joining Iveco S.p.A in 1997 as a Zone Manager for the company’s Eurocargo commercial vehicle product range.

During his time with Iveco David held a number of positions, including being appointed Marketing Manager for a territory spanning Africa, the Middle East and Mediterranean in September 2001.

David entered the passenger transport side of the business in November 2002, with his most recent assignment including three years as Sales Manager for Minibus products at Irisbus Italia S.p.A.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Siviero says: “Irisbus Iveco has an extensive product line-up and its strongest range of vehicles available in the UK to-date, from Daily through to the EuroRider. I am looking forward to working with the team to develop new opportunities and further expand our customer base.”

In his new position, Mr Siviero will be based at Irisbus Iveco’s head office in Watford. He will report directly to Mr. Danilo Martelli, Irisbus Vice President and Sales & Marketing Manager.
