New range of vehicles launched at the
Euro Bus Expo 2008

Irisbus launched and exhibited a new range of vehicles at the show.

Below is a short description about the vehicles that were launched at the show.

Irisbus will be exhibiting three models at the NEC, including their 35S14 3.8-tonne minibus with a 3300mm wheelbase, designed to seat 14 passengers. This entry level vehicle is aimed at the fleet market.

Irisbus Daily 35S14
Irisbus 35S14 plated at 3.8t with a wheelbase of 3300mm, 14 passenger seats, this will be an entry level minibus, none accessible, aimed more at the fleet market.

Irisbus Daily 49C15 Way
Irisbus 49C15 plated at 4.9t with a wheelbase of 3950mm, capable of 16 seated passengers or accessible variant, complete with under floor passenger lift.

The vehicle will have a prototype BCE electric plug door and step arrangement, for customer evaluation. ECE R66 homologation.

Irisbus Daily 50C18 Way
Irisbus 50C18 plated at 5.6t with a wheelbase of 4750mm, capable of 22 seated passengers or accessible variant.

The vehicle will have a BCE electric plug door and step arrangement, for customer evaluation. ECE R66 homologation.

Irisbus Daily 50C18 Tourys
Irisbus 50C18 plated at 5.6t with a wheelbase of 3950mm, capable of 16 seated passengers, internal height 2100mm.

As well as the Way vehicles, also the Tourys will be equipped with a BCE door, H3 in this case, to improve accessibility. ECE R66 homologation.

Irisbus EuroRider
Interurban and Tourist Coach Chassis, 3Axles, Cursor10 engine (450Hp) complying with Euro5 emission legislation. Currently available also as EEV emission level.

In addition, we will display 2 examples of applications of the Irisbus Eurorider Chassis in the Coach market.

The first vehicle is a Plaxton Panther built on the Eurorider 397E.12.33A, 2 axle chassis powered by Iveco Cursor8 EU4 and with ZF 6HP 604C automatic gearbox. The same engine is available as EU5 or EEV.

The second one is a Beulas Cygnus built on the Eurorider 397E.12.45A, 2 axle but equipped in this case with the more powerful Iveco Cursor10 coupled to the electronically automated gearbox ZF 12 AsTronic . As the Cursor 8, also the Cursor10 is available on the market in EU5 or EEV emission level configuration.
